Join the WES PTO FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLUB this Fall 2024 for new and returning students!

Classes start the week of October 28 for 10 weeks.

​

We offer high-quality, fun, introductory language instruction for kids! Your children can continue
learning a language they enjoy or try a new one! Our classes correspond to those offered at Strath
Haven Middle School.​

​​​COURSES OFFERED: (After-School at WES) 
French 1 for beginners - MONDAYS 3:30-4:30 
Spanish 1 for beginners - MONDAYS 3:30-4:30 
Mandarin for all levels - MONDAYS 3:30-4:30
German for all levels - THURSDAYS 3:30-4:30 

Spanish 2 for continuing learners - THURSDAYS 3:30-4:30 

 

French 1.5 for continuing learners - SATURDAYS 11 AM -12 PM at Helen Kate Furness

Library (*Starting in January 2025)

DISMISSAL
Your child will go straight from their classroom at 3:30pm to language class. Parents only need
to fill out a change in dismissal form in Power School if your child/children are not going to the
club that day. Parent pick-up is in FRONT [Providence Rd entrance] of the building at 4:30 PM.
(please arrive by 4:25pm).

CANCELLATIONS
In the event of a cancellation, the teacher will contact you at least 24 hours in advance via text
message and email. For last minute cancellations, you will be notified by your teacher via text
message and email, and the school will announce the class cancellation so that your
child/children can follow their regular dismissal routine.

If the cost presents a hardship, full scholarship is available by completing an ASK Scholarship
